Hi, I've become aware of a pedal steeler who has been diagnosed with a very serious degenerative illness who wants to sell his Zum S-12 both because he's become unable to play, and because he needs money for medical treatment. I haven't been keeping up with what an instrument like this would be worth. I want to make sure he gets a fair price for his instrument. Anyone have any clues as to what it would be worth? |

I am not a fan of Extended E9th so not sure.
Zum 12s are rare but depends if you want a Universal?
Closer to 3 than 5 for me. _________________ MSA 12 String E9th/B6th Universal.

Indeed, John White is the owner and since I posted about it I learned that he posted about it before I did. It's a 1987 with four pedals and five knee levers, and a Tru-Tone single coil pickup wound to 19.5k. In general, if anyone can help us figure out what any 12 string E9 extended used, in good condition, steel has/would cost, it would be most appreciated.
Thanks!

I agree with Ken, around 3k, if in good condition, and nice color. |
