Tennessee Rock Slide

We had an interesting week here in East Tennessee.
My day job is working as a reporter for a television station (WDEF), and photographer Allen Fairbanks and
I were the guys standing (at least for a while) in the path of that big rock slide you've been watching on tv all week.
A geologist asked us to move back..and a few minutes later all hell broke loose.
We had an opportunity to thank her the next day...when she drove 120 miles around the slide and back to the western side.
Twenty five year old Allen, who has won an Emmy and last year was named Phographer of the Year for Tennessee...got the money-shot from start to finish.

Great to work with real talent.
Now if he'll just learn to play bass.
