Alumitone Pickups

Can anyone tell me where you can buy The Alumitone Pickup?
Can you but them for any steel?
I have a Derby, and would like to try one it.
How do they compare to the B.L and George L pickups?
and the price of them..

I bought mine from www.steelguitar.net but haven't installed it yet. I thought I'd try one on the front neck before installing one on the C neck. Also available from www.bjsbars.com and from the Carter factory https://www.steelguitar.com/carter_store/accessories/accessories_orderform.html among others. You can probably find more from the links header at the top of the page.

I shouldn't think installation on a Derby would be any problem, particularly if you get the one from Carter with the mounting plate attached.
