I am going to pursue another Artist deal as a Vocalist and I am wanting some good players. I am in McPherson Kansas and would prefer someone from the cornering states of either Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma or Nebraska. I myself lived in Nashville from 89 to 96 and Played steel with Tim McGraw two years, short Canadian run (3 weeks) with Alan Jackson, Opryland USA "Country Music USA Show", a year with BB Watson, a year with Marty Haggard and three years with Ty England just to name a few. I do my original stuff I call GUT country plus Alan Jackson, Lots of Merle Haggard and some outlaw movement stuff by David Alan Coe, Hank Jr. and Jerry Jeff Walker. For starters I'll keep about a 200 mile radius of home and will include KC, Tulsa, OKC, Wichita, Omaha, Lincoln ect. Mostly E9th stuff. The time frame looks like first of the year at least and we can talk money at a later date when I know more. Good intonation is a must. Also looking for a fiddle player, bass player, and guitar player and drummer. Have ads on kcmusician.com and we are taking names pics and bios as we speak. I don't feel like I need to give a reference but fellow forumite Cal Sharp worked with me for a while in Nashville and he plays his ass off! (Love ya Cal)! Thanks guys, WC Edgar 620-245-1523 or email at
shobud82@alltel.net or
sales@toteseat.com OOps, almost forgot, My good friend Bobbe Seymour is also a very good reference to my vocal ability. WC
[This message was edited by Edgar Pro Case on 08 October 2002 at 01:42 PM.]

...not looking for a job, but just for nostalgia I have worked all of those venues with a touring band on a regular basis that you mentioned. Bless you my friend and I wish you the best..... Gene

Guess everyone out there already has a VFW, Eagles, Moose, Elks, or other animal circuit gig they don't want to give up! Or maybe the no drinking on stage part scared the rest away. There has to be someone in this area fed up with their present situation and wanting a refreshing change that isn't too obnoxious. Doesn't there? Maybe not!

Marty Pollard is a fine musician and in your area too, but keep him away from pointy sticks and bears.
