This may have been posted previously, however, I am brand new to any and all BIAB. If I were just starting out, could anyone recommend a program to download that would have the features for making backup tracks for pedal steel guitar and still be easy to use? Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Al, go here and you can download a free demo version of Band In A Box to try out before you buy. Click Here. Click on the "DEMOS" link near the top of the page.

Al,

If you have BIAB, it doesn't get much easier to make backing trax. I use BIAB, Real Band, and Power Tracks almost exclusively now. I make lots of trax for people in all styles. A lot of it depends on the quality of your sound card, and of course developing your expertise with the program.

At PGmusic.com, there is a forum that you can join free of charge, and lots of help is available there for newbies.
