Everything's there - except for the fretboards.

Isn't it weird that just the fretboards are missing?

It is my opinion that this guitar has been refinished and the owner just never got around to re-installing the fretboards.

If he has only one fretboard, maybe he slides it under the strings of the neck he's playing on at the time. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

If I had that guitar, I think I would just put small smiley face decals on for position marks and small black numbers under the first string denoting the frets. Rolling Eyes

At the twelfth fret, I'd write a small statement:
"You are half way, start over to the right of this mark."

Then I'd call it a student steel guitar for today's young musicians. Crying or Very sad
