Info needed on the Lexicon MPX1,
Can this unit be used with a Peavey DPC 750?
If so, what is the proper connection procedure?
If not, what is required to sucessfully connect and use this unit?
Thanks in advance, I would like replies and advice from some of you who are using the MPX1. H. P.

The DPC750 is strictly a power amp so you would need a preamp as well.

Thanks Jim
What would be a good choice for a preamp for the MPX1?

There are a number of them- Peavey Profex(it already has effects as well as the Pod XT(the Pod XT is not rack mounted however but they do make a 2 space rack mounted unit), GD Walker's Stereo Steel, Brad Sarno's Revelation, Johh Lemay's new preamp(MK-1), etc. All depends on what direction you want to go and how much money you have to spend.

Thanks again for your reply Jim.
I have a profex II but I'm not sure if that could be used with an MPX1,they are both processors are they not?
Just thought an MPX1 would provide a superior sound than the ProfexII. H.P.

You could use a Pro Fex II with an MPX-1 and just not program the effects in the Pro Fex - just use the Pro Fex pre-amp only. The Pro Fex signal is a good match for the pedal steel and you would be only using 2 rack spaces. Gtr > Vol Pedal > Pro Fex > MPX-1.
