
No, you won't find a bunch of those hot single-note licks on this video, but you <u>will</u> find a lot of full-chord stuff that's pleasing, and quite different from the typical one and two-note commercial steel sounds. Bobbe's "sweeping" playing style certainly gives fullness and added personality to the instrument.
As an alternative to just "adding more levers", he shows how much that can be done with just two. The <u>real</u> beauty of his "Z-lever" idea is that it can be added to most guitars without actually adding any pedals, and without losing anything you already have! Most players are <u>already</u> lowering the E9th 2nd string, and all that needs to be done is to add a pull or two to that same lever.
