Hi guys,
I just wanted to introduce myself to all of you. I'm Harold Liles. Some of you may remember the name, as back in 1996 and 1997 I ran a website called The Access Pedal. That was when this forum was in it's infancy. I reluctantly gave up the site due to lack of time to devote to it. THere was little info on the web back then about steel guitar a small handfull of us were trying to correct that. I commend Bobby for continuing this excellent site.

I have always loved pedal steel and the wonderful sounds they make. Now that retirement has set in I'm looking forward to relearning what I had forgot. I just bought a used MSA Semi-Classic setup with 3 and 5. It was a little rough and will need some careful restoration but I enjoy a good challenge. I'm sure I'll be throwing lots of questions out there to ya'll over the next few months.

Thanks guys I look forward to learning much from all of you.

Mickey, I love your U-Tube stuff. That's what inspired me to get back into pedal steel. Your an awesome teacher..

Welcome Back Harold. As you know, there is a ton of information here. If it’s not here, ask and you’ll get answers. Kind of like the Emerald City, a magical place, see the green headers? (Yes that would make b0b the great and powerful!)
