Tuning problem.

When I tune the G# string ( pedals down )with the Stroboflip and then release the pedals the Stroboflip rolls upwards indicating the string being sharp but, when I press the pedals and release them again the roller spins the other way. What's going on here?

Either something is binding or the drop return spring (on all pull's) needs adjusting (tightening).

I would check the drop return spring first. If yours has adjustable springs (most do) tighten it about 1/2 turn and then check it.

Thanks Jack for your response. I've just overhauled the whole of the undercarriage and things appear to be working as they should. I checked the springs and cleaned and lubed them as well. Seems ok at the moment.
