BROOKS COUNTY JAMBOREE IN QUITMAN GEORGIA IS STARTING UP A BIG BROOKS COUNTY JAM SOON AND YOU'RE ALL INVITED. IF YOU SING, PLAY RYTHEM, PICK LEAD, PLAY BASS, STEEL, DRUMS, KEYBOARD OR WHATEVER, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. THE JAM WILL HAVE A VINTAGE COUNTRY FORMAT, ANYTHING FROM HANK WILLIAMS, MERLE HAGGARD, GEORGE JONES, WAYLON JENNINGS, CARL SMITH, FARON YOUNG, AND ALL THE REST OF THE GREAT COUNTRY STARS FROM THE 50'S ON UP. WE HAVE EVERYTHING SET UP, P.A., DRUMS, ETC.....THERE WILL BE FRESHMENTS AND SNACKS ON HAND. THE ENVIROMENT IS ALCOHOL AND TOBACCO FREE ALTHO WE HAVE A SMOKING AREA FOR SMOKERS. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE SO DON'T PASS IT BY. YOU OLD BOYS THAT USE TO PLAY 20 OR 30 YEARS AGO WHEN COUNTRY WAS COUNTRY, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO GET BACK INTO SOMETHING YOU LOVE, AND YOU NEW-COMERS TRYING TO LEARN COUNTRY, THIS IS THE BEST CHANCE YOU'LL EVER HAVE. Wow! This right down my alley! This sounds like my kind of FUN! Only one problem. I'm probably 8 or 9 hundred miles north in Maryland. I wish somebody would organize something like this around here. :?
