Educate Me - BIAB, Realband, Both, Either????????????

Hey folks -

There are times (infrequently) when I think that I'm a pretty smart feller. There are other times (like now) when that notion gets unceremoniously shot out of the saddle.

I've gone to PGMusic's site on three or four occasions and attempted to adequately determine the relationship of RealBand to BIAB. I must be missing something quite obvious since I've not been able to tie them together - at least not to my satisfaction.

I've used BIAB in all of its' versions for a dozen years. Is RealBand a substitute for or an add-on to BIAB? It would appear to be an add-on though I'm not sure what I would be gaining in spending my hard-earned money.

Would someone be willing to take this old gent by the hand and educate him?

Respectfully,

Richard

"PG Music's RealBand compounds the music creation power of their Band-in-a-Box software with their PowerTracks audio sequencer. What you get is an all-in-one solution for composing, editing, and producing your tracks. RealBand is a great choice for everyone from early musicians to accomplished songwriters. The program can create automatic arrangements to support your ideas, thanks to its Audio Chord Wizard, RealDrums tool, and RealTracks live instrument builder - it puts advanced song composition at your fingertips! What's more, you can even print music notation with PG Music's RealBand"

I have it too but I still use PowerTracks instead.

Thanks, Andy. Just had to look a little more carefully.
