I will be leading a introductory dobro workshop at the 1st annual El Cerrito Free Folk Festival. The festival is this Saturday, October 10th from noon to 10:00 pm, and my workshop will be held at 1:00 pm. If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area, I invite you to check it out, and visit the rest of the festival as well. It looks like it is going to be a fun event, with lots of workshops, performers on two stages, a family program, and lots of impromptu jamming and singing. Those of you who have visited the San Francisco Free Folk Festival in the past know the variety of performers and musical styles involved in such a folk festival.
The festival will be held at Windrush School, 1800 Elm Street in El Cerrito, 3 blocks from the El Cerrito Del Norte BART station, and food vendors will be available at the festival site.
