To-day my son Derek has been accepted for a
teaching position in Greensboro. He sets out by car next week and starts Sept.16th.
Is the Emmons Guitar Co in Burlington? Hope so! I may get a chance to visit as it looks
pretty close on the map.
Derek's excited as he is an avid basketball fan. Some great college teams down there!!

Hi Roy, yes the Emmons guitar Co. is about 30 minutes East of Greensboro in Burlington on I40/I85. The Emmons Co. is not far off of the highway, 5 or 10 minutes.
gas up the car, sounds like your going for a ride ..

Hi Roy, You may want to call Ronnie and Rebeca a day ahead to let them know when you'll be in. They usually take lunch from 1-2 but check with them nice folks. When do you expect to be there? I've got to get up there soon and do some things. Maybe hook up. Emmons # 336-227-2782 Skip

Thanks Skip but Derek is travelling solo.
His contract is 3 years and I anticipate
at some point we will visit him somewhere in there. I will certainly make arrangements
for any visit to the Emmmons Co.

Roy, When you come on down the Greensboror, you are only 80 miles from Charlotte on a major higway I85 South , and there is always something going on. Joe Smith is always working around town and who knows maybe you'll get lucky and maybe I'll even be in town somewhere. Let us know , we would love to visit. Joe and I both live in the Charlotte area so maybe you could stop by and visit.
