Wow, what a weekend. We went coast-to-coast-to-coast. Friday we flew to Providence, RI, and played the Rhythm & Roots Festival, then jumped on a plane, after a brief stop in Washington DC, we went all the way to Hollywood, Ca where we played the Jerry Lewis Telethon on Sunday. Got some rest, then after a brief stop in Las Vegas, we flew to Seattle, Wa and played the Bumbershoot. When I saw the huge crowd at Bumbershoot, of course they were all hippies, I wasn't sure how we would go over. Well, the crowd exploded, and we fed off that energy and Brian, Tony and the boys slayed the audience. Those folks apparently love country music. It was a great way to end a great tour. |

Hey Chris -
I caught y'all at the Rhythm & Roots Fest in RI. Great show! I kept wondering who was this guy 'Chris Sch..........' as they announced your name 2 times over the noise of the crowd. Glad to put a name to the face.
Crowd seemed pretty revved up, too! I was standing over by the dancing tent, and there was plenty of moving going on.
Glad to see they carried a steel player...
Take care,
