I have never seen a Sessions 112 to my knowledge but I have had several Nashville 112 Amps. Gooood Amps!
I have also had or now have a Session 500, Session 400, Nashville 400, and Nashville 1000.
My take on Peavey Amps are.... Best Bang for the Buck anywhere! A Nashville 112 would be a great choice with a LeGrande II. A Session or Nashville 400 would be good choice too! Peavey customer support is second to none which means a LOT to me!
If you want a fairly light Amp get a NV-112 if weight is not a problem a 400 or NV-1000 might be the way to go.
Either way your Emmons will sound good through a Peavey. |

IMO, the Session 400 is the one to beat. I also have an original '65 Twin with a 15" JBL and a '90s NV400 with the Peavey Mod. The Session 400 whups up on all of 'em. Somehow, Peavey managed to get tube warmth in a transistor amp. Amazing!
I'd like to have a Session 500 too, just for grins, but other than that I have to say my search for the perfect steel amplifier is over.
My opinion, natch. _________________ Johnny Thomasson |

The small cab "original" LTD 400s are hard to beat. They have the same tube warmth as the Session 400.
Johnny, the Session 500 is an amazin'sounding amp... but ohhhhh the weight and oooooooo my achin' back. They are great stationary amps!!!

Yeah, Dickie Overby gets some pretty fine tone out of his LTD 400, for sure. I don't care so much about the weight, but if I was to bring one more amp in this house that I don't need, the next tune I'd be learnin' would be D-I-V-O-R-C-E. _________________ Johnny Thomasson |
