Lefty,
Yes, I was going to send you an e-mail.
I am planning to attend and I very much desire a vendor space. I plan to be on a Hawaiian kick this time. I am in the process of making backup tracks for all my 26 Hawaiian tabs and they will be for sale at the show.
I will also have a pedal "Hawaiian" Excel guitar with me.
I can even bring along an extra lei for you!

Erv, do bring that lei! Sounds like it may promote 'swinging' music.
...lefty
p.s. We'll have a vendor table for you.

Lefty,
If you want "swinging" music.
Just leave the BVDs at home and put on a pair of bib overalls!

by Lefty Schrage
Here's another idea: Maybe you could don a pair of bib overalls and show the audience a few fancy Hawaiian dance steps on stage?

I know the barnyard stomp!
I'll see if a grass skirt will fit over my bibbers.

Terry, we're sorry you won't be able to make the show this time and hopefully you'll have a great gig w/ Mel. Keep in touch. We're very fortunate to have the highly talented Mike Sweeney step up to headline the show.
As Kirk mentioned, be sure to make your Heartland Inn reservations by October 5 to get the show rate.
The tentative player schedule is nearing completion and should be posted by end of September at
www.steelguitarjam.com.
The weekend begins with a circle jam 6-10 pm Friday, October 23 (open to all steelers) followed by two full days of music Saturday and Sunday, October 24-25. We will be blessed with our very skilled house band again consisting of Roger Miller (lead & captain), Mark Krutke (bass), Glenn Runnels (fiddle), and Harry Lange (drums).
Hope to see you all there!

It's a tall order to fill but I'll do my best to make Terry proud. We're gonna have a big time, That's for sure. I just need to go weed eater shopping for Roger before we come up there.
I can't wait to hear Lefty play "Valentine" again. That tune was made for him.
See y'all in a few weeks.
