Steel guitar MDs?

Because of a sudden medical condition (blood clot, which means I can't lift and ship for a while) I've been having to revise some terms of instruments I've had listed for sale. It occurred to me I don't recall coming across anyone on the Forum who mentioned being an MD. My own doctor plays steel (used to play guitar with the Chambers Brothers) but isn't a member here.

Any doctors (or nurses) in the house?

Will I be able to play steel guitar after the procedure?

Depends if you could play steel guitar before the procedure.

I dated a nurse once, does that count? Did you really expect serious answers?

Ben, sorry to hear about your recent condition :(
I can give you Dr. Banjo's telephone #...but it's really alternative care.
Hope you feel better soon.-garryv

Yeah, there's a few docs around here. I think they're laying low. Turns out folks think that if you went to med school (or grad school), you couldn't possibly be a decent steel player. But, when you think about it, it ain't brain surgery! :whoa:

I know of a couple of others on the forum who are Dr's, but they probably want to retain their privacy for the same reason Dr's and Lawyers hate family reunions, because of all the free advice they are asked to dispense.
