Tom,

The HSGA convention in Joliet, Illinois should be coming up soon in early October.

It'll be a lot of fun, and you'll get to meet a lot of good steel players who can give you a lot of tips and advice.

I've also listed a link to the Tiki Terrace up in Des Plaines. Check out their calander for a list of monthly events. Sometimes a steel player will show up at the kanikapila and/or live band karaoke.

Awww...that's too bad! But I'll probably come to HI before you come here :D ...hopefully soon..I'll let you know.

I may go to HSGA after all, I'm still trying to work it into the budget.
