I bought a Hilton pedal when I was at the Dallas show last year.It operates perfectly
A friend bought one at the same time.Both pedals came from the same supplier.
Although We did not notice at the time,Mine is powered by a 12volt transformer and My friend's has a 24 volt one.
There is no indication on the pedal as to the power requirement.
Anyone know why the difference.?
My friend had some issues with His pedal,it was replaced,I have heard of others having some problems,
Is it the power supply?

My first Hilton pedal had a BIG transformer and the cord firmly attached to the pedal.
My second pedal had a small wall wart and the cord could be detached from the pedal. I like this pedal a lot more than the 1st. It might sound the same but is a lot more convenient.  |

Thanks for Your reply Erv.
I too had the "Hard Wired" version and changed to the removable power supply.
I guess everyone is at St Louis just now so perhaps I will get an answer when they return.
Since My pedal has no indication whether it is 12 or 24 volt will it operate with either.

| Billy, is there anything marked on the wall wart? I seem to remember a thread about this, and the reasons Kieth gave, and I could be wrong but I believe Baz came up with both a price and supplier of a replacement should it be needed(always handy to have a spare) which if my memory serves me well could have been Maplins( our version of Radio Shack).Malcolm |

| Billy did search, and found thread.Baz said replacement wall wart was £9.87 from a company in Ely Cambridgeshire, and clarified the changes between the pedals. |

Malcolm,
I too remember the discussion on the BSS site.
A replacement power supply seems pretty easy to locate.
My pedal works fine and I do not need a replacement power supply but as I said earlier I cannot understand
why the pedal is not marked with the required voltage.
Lord Thompson and Myself purchased our pedals at the same time and from the same supplier at the Dallas show.
My power supply is 12volt and His is 24volt ???
