Stay tuned. Don't touch that dial! Mozilla is about to release updates to the Firefox browsers, versions 3.0.x and 3.5.x. These updates are already a day behind schedule, but will show up sooner or later in the next few hours.

Included in the upcoming version 3.5.3 and 3.0.14 is a detection mechanism that tells you if your version of Adobe Flash player is outdated and offers a download link to Adobe, where you can get the latest version for Firefox. Flash Player is one of the most frequently exploited plug-ins and is installed on most Internet connected computers. More than 80% of those computers are running an old or out-dated version of Flash and are subject to exploitation through it.

Note, that Flash for Firefox (and Safari, Opera, Chrome) is different than Flash for Internet Explorer. Each uses a different technology and the correct version must be downloaded from each browser.
