Jerry's contribution to the world of Steel Guitar is indeed rich and his website documents the various stages of his career. I'm happy to say that Jerry is "back" and playing better then ever! Jerry is back as you say, and he is already having to turn down some events as he is being booked at a very peppy rate.
Not only is he a great, and I mean great player, he is also, one of the nicest human beings anyone would ever want to meet.

I was fortunate to see and hear him at the PSGA last November. As a player, a personality, and a gentleman, his last name describes him best.

Howard R. , I saw your post, couldnt help wondering what type or brand guitar you play . Do you play in a band , maybe , you hire out to any one.

problem is I dont know anybody. I`m a new computer man I stumble, trip ,stagger and fall. Been playing ,since the 40`s , not profesional. I spent my life in oil refining.

It is a 1 take track of Rocky Top that he did, and let me just say this..if he slowed it down it would still be considered too fast !
