If anyone is in the Dalton, GA area Friday night, the 28th, Barry Gilreath is hosting another great variety show, featuring several great singers. I will be playing in the staff band as usual along with Mike Headrick, Jim Unger and others. Jeannie Seely is the special guest at this show, so I know it will be a great show. She is one of my all time favorite female vocalists, and I'm really looking forward to getting to back her.
Also, I might mention that even though I am playing the Southern Nights Theatre here in Pigeon Forge seven nights a week, I am still taking off for the Jamboree in Dalton each month as well as many of the steel guitar shows. Some people thought I wouldn't be doing this show anymore, but believe me I am still doing it.
If you would like to attend the Jamboree in Dalton, take the Walnut St. exit off I-75 and go to the top of the hill to the North Georgia Convention and Trade Center. It is very easy to find. The show starts at 7:30p.m.
