:whoa:

That would be more like a Style 10.

OK, this one has to be heard. Clips? Stop by my studio, we'll record a few.

Wow.
Carroll is truly an artist.
I have one of Carroll's 8 string resonators, and, I am the proud keeper of a 1927 Style 2.5 Dobro. (patent pending)

I must say that the spirit of the Dopyera Brothers lives on.

So, will you be sleeping with her tonight? Seems awfully comfy on your bed. I expect to see pics tomorrow of her with a cigarette....

Very cool Howard!! Congrats!!

I like how he went with the shape of the old, all metal square necks.

What will your next style 4 be made of??

Looking forward to a sound clip!!

Thanks for sharing

No, but now I am......

I think I see what you're asking about....where the neck joins the body at the back.....no, that's the flash causing an illusion.....you can barely see the seam in real life if you look real close.....

How does it sound compared to a metal bodied tricone?

HELLO HOWARD,

WHEW! I bet you are busted. :whoa:

That is "One Beautiful Resonator Guitar" 8)
Did you design it yourself?

I would believe the tone of this guitar is quite mellow.

Congrats Howard, I can hear it from here, I played one of Carrolls 8 string dobro's this year and if I had one guitar to take with me, that would be it, he makes nice records too !

I don't know ... there are a few empty spots that could use some more engraving ... LoL ;)

Seriously though, what a beauty! There are some serious hours invested in creating her.
