What are the regular shipping costs for 4 Rubber feets, 2 Sets of Strings and 50 tuning nuts to Switzerland (Europe)
Bobbe S. charges $65. That's more than the merchandise cost. What different ways of shipping in the US are available? What is DHL?
Thnx for Information

Sigi, please understand that Bobbe does'nt use the postal service - like many, the post office is not around the corner like it used to be - so they use FedEx, UPS, DHL or another carrier - they are more expensive
if you know someone in the states, have him get those items for you & have him send them to you via postal
it should'nt cost you more than 16 $ on shipping

I ship small packages to Europe via the US Postal Service often, and the cost is between $13 and $20.
If you know the approximate weight of the package you can find out the shipping price --->

My regular job is as a postmaster. The others are correct in that the Postal Service will get it there much cheaper. One hint, though. Be careful about shipping an item overseas other than by Priority or Express. Parcels shipped at the cheaper rate often are put on a boat. Not always, but often depending on their destination. That takes much longer and whether it's via the Postal Service or any other carrier, the longer an item is in any shipping system the more time there is for it to get damaged.

Eric P's right on
Global Priority is the way to go for Intl postal shipping
note that certain articles are light enough to be put in a bubble wrap envelope & sent AS A LETTER
Packages are more expensive & take more time for delivery
