Coca Cola Cowboy tab out there?
Does anyone have a tab of Coca Cola Cowboy? I would gladly make a contribution to the forum for a copy and be very grateful. Thanks.

Wow...
Loren, that was a while ago. Worked it up because I didn't have a guitar player that did it at the time. Glad you found and are going to be able to use it.

How to use silence as an effect...
Quentin, I'm not sure who the steeler was on the session, but love it...
Listen to how "lead instrument silence" is used from 1:20 to 1:37 in that link. Real country... And how prominent the steel sounds when it sneaks back in. It is more then learning to play, also learning when it is "right" not to play. I have always like this song, may have to start singing it myself.

Agreed Dick, when country was country! Steel had a more prominant place in the line up. I find nowadays that tracks can get too busy when they should be backing off. Another good example is here

From 1:20 to about 1:40 with the only interuption is when somebody either trips over or kicks an amp that has the reverb cranked up at about 1:22

It's not 100 percent clear, but it could have been Jaydee Maness. I think he's over the whole soundtrack, which "Coca Cola Cowboy" is a part of.
