Here is a challenge to listeners:

How many tunes or songs can you name in which the "steel guitar" is referred to in the title or in the words?

Just going for lyrics for the moment....

It occurs to me that the two examples I can think of are sung by Bing Crosby ("My Favorite Hawaiian Songs") album.

Palace In Paradise:
"There were steel guitars and a song of love in our palace beside the sea."

When You Dream About Hawaii:
"... to the tune of steel guitars beneath the stars at Waikiki"

Calling it what it is........................
