Tonight, using RealBand, I made my first attempt at recording myself playing along with an imported BIAB (rendered .wav) file. The BIAB file was my Track #1 and my guitar was track #2. After recording and then during the playback, I discovered that track #2 (supposedly my guitar only) was not a seperate track by itself, as it had recorded track #1 (BIAB file) along with it. . . so in effect, I have 2 Track #1's playing. Also, to complicate matters further, Track #1 (BIAB only) and Track #2 (my guitar and track #1 BIAB)are just slightly, slightly out of sync with each other. Any suggestions to remedy one or both problems? Thanks for any help. |

Mike-Usually when you first playback , you will hear both tracks, unless you Mute track #1. Did you do that?...al. _________________ Michigan (MSGC)Christmas Dinner and Jam on my 80th Birthday.

Thanks for the response Al . . . my problem was that the "Stereo Mix" was checked on my soundcard record settings causing it to record everything heard on the soundcard's output to that new track... unchecking it solved the problem. Live and learn! Thanks again for your input. |
