Randy, any info on start time and how long you play? I'll try to make it if the schedule will allow.

The venue's website says it starts at 7:00 pm. Our schedule says we have a 10:30 show time. I imagine there are other bands on as well. I think this is a radio promotion show for the local station.

Hey Paul, are you visiting that area? If you are I need to get out to the garage and fire up the lathe. That's some great looking maple you sent!

I'm not 100% sure, but I thought I heard them announce on the local radio station (Q104.3 Kansas City) that you could only get in the door by listening to their station to win tickets.
Anyway, yes there is a local band here called
Travis Marvin & Hammer Down opening for Lee Ann Womack. The opening band starts at 9pm and plays about an hour.

Clint might be right? The radio station website for Q104.3 Kansas City states:
your FREE summer concert station brings you Lee Ann Womack, July 11th at Whiskey Tango! The only way in is to WIN your tickets right here on Q104! Listen and WIN! More details coming soon!

I can relate but there is not much drywall going on around here!
What a packed house! Big ole "honky tonk" with a fairly young crowd. It would take 10 minutes just to try to walk through the crowd to go across is width wise. Everyone seemed to love the "Boss" and had a great time. It was great for me getting to see friends that I've known for close to 40 years.
We'll be back in KC August 30th at the Arena downtown. Not sure of all the details but I'm sure looking forward to it.
Roger Hurst, very few of those brownies made it back to Tennessee! Judy and I finished them off this evening.
Thanks for a great weekend,
Randy

Jimbeaux! We'll be within an area code or two this weekend. Does that count?
We are playing "Jamboree In The Hills" at St. Clairsville, OH. From what I can tell it's between Columbus, OH and Pittsburgh, PA. This looks like Country Music's version of "Woodstock".
