The KT-45 and EZG-50 are really clean with a hugh amount of headroom. I would think either of these would sound great!

I used Jr in the studio with my Kline Uni. It sounded terrific at low volume, but they get gritty fairly quickly. Perfect for my Strat though.
Doc called me one day, and asked me to bring my '57 Strat in. He wanted to tune a new design up. I sat and played while he subbed parts in and out. He'd put in a cap, and I'd play, and comment. Then he'd try another, and maybe change the first one. At the end of the day, he was happy, and I was hooked. Doc has the best ears! He's a drummer, and only knows about two chords on guitar, but his ears and brain are fine tuned sound machine! I headed to Florida, and called him a few days later. I had to have one! The first one built had two tens. Mine has a Celestion Blue 12". I didn't do anything but play, and make a few comments, but the Maz Jr. circuit was tuned with me playing my ancient Strat! I think that's pretty cool! Here's the axe the amp was tuned up to; "57 with a '61 pickguard:

Got the EZG-50 and Z 4x10 cabinet Friday. OMG, what a tone. Dr Z didn't lie, it is "The Super That Never Was". This amp has incredible headroom, the low end is clear and tight at any volume.
I dimed the pre and set the post at 9 O'clock and what a great tone for blues. Back the pre to 10 O'clock and post to 1-2 O'clock and you'll get a great clean chime, very smooth, rich tones.
On a scale of 1-10 I'll give it a 20!
