Just saw Tommy White with Steve Wariner at the ET Midnite Jamboree here in Nashville. Playing one of Jeff Surratt's Sho-Pro SD10's. AWESOME TONE. Fat, warm, yet punchy and clear. I didn't get a chance to play it or talk to Tommy, but I'm going to have to take a closer look at one the in future. I am seriously impressed.

BTW, Jeff and his wife were in the audience. When I complimented him on the tone of the guitar, his reply was that Tommy could make anything sound good. Very humble guy. And he builds one heck of a steel guitar.

I also attended the Midnight Jamboree last night and I'm seriously considering a Show~Pro for myself, in the future, but; right now I own too many PSG's to justify purchasing another!

John I heard Tommy the other night while at my "day job", HA,HA. He did a superb job as he always does.
When I first heard him, I wondering who they got to play that night on steel. Because he sounded so good, I mean he really made that thing sing.

I was on a cruise in 1991 with Steve Wariner, TG Sheppard and Ronnie Milsap. I had all of Steves Cd's and was able to chat with him, very personalble as well as his look alike brother. I told him I was a real fan and that I was feeling pretty bad a year prior after going through a divorce so I went out and purchased his greatist hit's CD and after listening to it I even felt worse. Man that was a great cruise.

I saw Tommy at the Waterfront Park in Louisville with Steve Wariner also...That Sho-Pro did sound good but Tommy can make anything sound good. It was great to see him back in Louisville.
