by Gary Preston
I am proud to announce that the O.S.G.A. is planning their next jam . The date is '' August 8th 2009 '' As everyone knows here on the forum we are having a great time . The club is doing very well and has been blessed with great players and visitors to come and listen to us . What more could you ask for ? As always we have had some great helpers that serve the food and help with the running of the jam . Thanks to everyone that has been a part of the event ,without you we couldn't do it ! I think everyone knows that the event is an alcohol and smoke free venue . You can bring mom and dad and the whole family and have a great afternoon of music and food . Keep in mind some of our players have some history behind them . Some have played for George Jones ,Tammy Wynette , Gene Shepherd , Crash Craddock , Ferlin Husky ,etc. So if you want to hear them play some of your favorite music come out and support them . The venue is close to all major freeways . Hope to see you at the jam . Best regards ,, G.P.

The Day job does tend to get in the way of our steel habit sometimes. One of life's necessary evils, I guess. It's looking like I can make this one. I might even bring my steel. LOL

Hi all . We expect everyone to bring their steel guitars and play a set for us . We will have Tammy , Jeff , and Marvin play a set for us if they are ok with it . We want everyone to play the songs that they have worked so hard to play . We are a fun steel guitar club and all are friends . Hope to see everyone at the jam . Best regards , G.P.
P.S. i think i will bring my 1980 L.D.G. to this jam . It has killer tone ! I'm sorry that some of you can't make the jam as we miss you when you aren't here .

Maybe you should mention the lunch plan again. It's the highlight of my day. (The ladies do such a fine job of arranging it!)
Mr. Martin, you didn't make that clear if you were coming or not.
