Hi Leon,
Saw that you are line so I wanted you to know that I love the Super Pro I bought from you. Another player here in Bartlett played it and said it was the best he had ever played.
Hope to get down your way Sep or Oct to do some fishing. I'll let you know when,

Jerry Grant

How do you find out what year your psg is made? I love my Super Pro--such an amazing sound (despite me being the one playing it!), I'd just like to know its vintage...

Cameron,
I was told by the person I bought it from recently that it is an '83. But - I don't know for sure. There are some guys who post here, Ricky Davis for one, that might be able to give you a close year if he knew the serial number. Try Ricky and see what turns up.

Sho-Bud serial numbers are not very helpful when it comes to dating a gtr. Pictures are much better.

As far as SuperPro's go, they're a little tougher to narrow down, since there weren't that many revisions and variations over the course of production, like you would find in ProII's, ProIII's or LDG's.

But show us some pics, and we'll see...

Hi Jerry, I'm glad you like the Super-Pro. I don't know what year it is, it could be a '83, that was the last year they made the super-Pro as far as I know. I hope to see you when you get down here.
Keep picking. Your friend, Leon

Jerry, I am trying to clean the comb webs out and remember the year they moved. I worked for them twice, both being in Conway Ar. They moved to De Queen AR around that time. They moved one line back to Conway around 84. So anyway it would have been in Arkansas. I need to find out the dates I worked with them. I will get with Gene Haugh who worked there at that time and get some history dates.

Joe
