My son has been working very hard for the past two or three weeks putting this website together for me. I think he's doing a great job. It's still evolving and we're adding things all the time. Check it out and let me know what you think. Oh yeah, be sure to sign the guest book.

| Hi Bobby, Great site. Brings back some old memories for me. I was in Odessa in around 1954 and was teaching for Al and working for Bozo Darnell, Bill Myrick, Blackie Crawford, and Bill Callahan.Freddy Franks and Leon Hayes were also there at the time, as was Big Red Hayes who was with Hoyle Nix at Hoyles club and he was teaching guitar for Al. I rember you and Al Perkins and Al playing so loud that the Western Union office below was beating on the sealing with a broom.( As you know, we were upstairs). | Hi Gary. That picture was taken at American Legion hall in Menard, TX during one of their annual get togethers they have every year in May. |
