Post by Frode Bjoernstad »

Does anybody know if the transformator in those Peavey Nashville 112 amps made for and are switchable for both 110V and 220V (European).

They do for both markets, so , if you purchase from US, you have to 'rebuild' it's transformator for 220V. But I saw them in Stockholm, so you likely can find or order one in Oslo too and then it's only for 220V.

Swedish price (if to ask discount) wasn't so terrific.

Yup. They retail here in Norway for around 8800NOK ($1400).

Would be a lot less from the States even with taxes, shipping etc.

I brought used one from States and put 'euro' transformator myself. Works fine.
Heard that two N112 amps will be in Tallinn music store soon with good price. Not sure who buys them here, but maybe I'll take anoyher one.

I use a little voltage converter you can pick up here in Canada for about $30.00. You just plug it into the Euro power...and it converts the power to 110...works great! :)
