The Bud was nice
but the ZB is a great steel in mint condition.

Bill,
It was an experiment that I did, to see what the string tension/pedal action/tone of the sixth string would be like if my ZB had a keyless head.

As my ZB is an eleven stringer, and I can only manage ten, I put the experimental unit in the redundant eleventh tuner position.

As it turned out, pedal action was improved, and felt very positive (and also had a slightly shorter throw) but the tone was no different. so I decided not to install a keyless unit
