Just a friendly bump and info. I have finaly talked Mike into selling one of his Guitars, it is Shobud from start to finish, changer, fret board, LLoyd Green style with pad, it is one of Mike's work of art, no case, Guitar will be $1,200.00, what a beatifull Guitar this is, like new never played outside of Mike's music room. If you need a new Professional guitar here it is.
Mike is a master craftman, a getting one of his Guitars is a rare find.

Sorry to digress from this post, but I was wondering if Ernie could post, or send me, a couple of pictures of Mike's steel that he is selling? From what I've seen, he does some beautiful work.
In any event, have a great jam, folks. I'd love to come, but I'll be working for the hospice over in eastern Lake County around the time that the jam begins. Besides, you all play pretty good and my playing may make y'all cry...and not in a good way.

I was at Mike's house on Monday and the guitar is a real piece of art as are all of his guitars. Mike told me Ernie was going to pick it up today.

Thanks to all the folks who came last night to our June jam.
We had 16 players in a 3 hour period and James Marlowe brought his steel but decided to sit it out because of the many players.
Next time Jim, play please.
Lee wilber had his new Jackson steel.
What a beauty and Ray Hunt brought his new Show Pro but did not play it so jack D. di a super job on it backing up our Hall of Famer, Lou Rochelle of (Still a Lot of LOve in San Antone" fame.
Thanks to our band members, we had 3 bass players, 3 drummers and it was nice to see Tom Murphy back after several months on the ill side of life.
There is so much more.
Maybe Jack S. will fill you in what I missed.

Hey Don,
I didn't get there as early as I would've like to.
So with the way the tables were set up, there just wasn't a comfortable place to put my rig. Didn't want to set up in the "middle" of the floor!
But I enjoyed just listening. BTW, my company, Bill Keen said you played really well. Maybe he'll come to the next one and bring in his Dobro. He's recovering from some very serious health issues, so we decided to cut out early.
See ya next month, and maybe I'll call for a Gospel song when my round robin comes up....just for you! Smile

Jim, there was room, we had planned on using the middle for whoever showed up. Also, have him bring his Dobro next month.

I have "I'm Using My Bible For A Roadmap" Bluegrass style on my CD, using the Matchbro. I know you also play that one so we should plan on it next month.

James
I was just making light of the Gospel songs.
In fact I have a Gospel tab book I sell as well as a Gospel CD.
I do hope you play next month.
Folks like your smooth playing also.
I'm also one of the walking wounded with major discs pain and thanks from help of several members I was able to get my gear up to play.
Hopefully the seating will be back to normal next month.

It seemed like every one enjoyed the Jam yesterday and had a good time. Getting to play a new Sho Pro was a thrill thanks for letting me play it, Jack Dougherty played it so well he left licks on it, wht a great guitar they sre.

By the way the wennick is sold, going to Portwood or if he refusses it is going to Shuda up north.
