What A Turn Out For Lynn Owsley

Sunday was a beautiful day in Nashville, Think God
was really smiling at all of us on this day, and this
was the day of the benefit for Lynn Owsley. It was
amazing the LONG HOLLOW JAMBOREE in Nashville was
packed to the rafters. Lynn thanked me personally
and that was enough for me. Have some pretty cool
pictures I will try and post for all you steelies.
If you still wish to contribute to the fund send
Lynn Owsley a personal check and he is a member here.
But let me finish I think not only me, but those
that attended including a steel guitar forum member
from Pennsylvania whom I introduced to Lynn enjoyed
the playing. but Steel guitar players came, country artists came. Jim Vest donated one of his platinum
records for the auction. went for top dollar too!
Jack Greene sang his classic Statue of a Fool, Perlie
Curtis played, and many more. Joy Ford was there as
a sponsor, Willie Rainsford country piano player on
all of ALABAMA HITS added to the awesome sound. BEST
OF ALL MY BUDDY LYNN PLAYED.
This benefit not only attests to the love of steel guitar players, steel guitar music lovers as myself.
but also to COUNTRY MUSIC. I can think of no other
form of music where when one of us is in need our hearts open and the sunshine and love is there.
My best to all of you
