This is a transcription of Speedy West's solo on the Pea-pickin' Tennesse Ernie Ford/Kay Starr duet "I'll Never Be Free" from 1950, arranged for the C6 pedal tuning. String one is tuned to D; pedal B raises it a half-tone.

Thanks, John. I love that song and I adore Ernie Ford! "Cousin Ernie" was born just a few miles up the road from me, in Bristol, TN. |
