Choosing a Dual-Purpose Peavey?

Maybe the Peavey rep that is a Forum member can answer this.
Besides Steel, I also have a Fender B-Bender. I am sure the Fender would sound just great through the Nashville 112. But because I have a guitar, I would like more versatility...like having crunchy distortion pre-sets and such.
the Peavey Vypyr 2x12 Tube Modeling amp has all those effects. I wonder if this amp series would also be just as good for the steel as the 112.
I am looking at Peavey because the advantage of the 112 seems to be mostly a speaker that is designed for the sound steelers want. I am wondering if the speakers in the 2x12 would be "close enough."
Thanks

I have not tried the VYPYR but the Valve King works well for both. It's 100 watts 2x12 and can be clean but has some good gain for playing guitar.
It has enough clean headroom for steel at moderate volume.

The Vegas 400 seems popular with double duty Peavey fans because of the independent channels.

I thought we were taking current models.
I used a Vegas for that very thing years back.
