Good entry/intermediate level steel at a good price. Don't know what year it was built (I'm the 3rd owner) but it is in great shape with no bar dings or blemishes to speak of. Has the Emmons copedent. To my understanding the two previous owners were also beginners so it has never been played out. Comes with a hard shell case.
I purchased the steel about a year ago and looking to upgrade to a Mullen. I'm 6'02" to I raised it up to fit underneath. It stays in tune remarkably well, but admittedly the knee levers need to be tuned better; this may be a mechanical adjustment but I have no mechanical skills.
This is a great steel, far superior to many of the "starter" steels out there. Asking $950 and looking for a Mullen if someone is thinking of trading for a practice or lesser steel.
