Friday, 5-22-2009 at the Long Hollow Jamboree on
the outskirts of Nashville, I had the opportunity
to meet another great steel guitar player.
Lynn Owsley, who performed with John Heinrich another
steel guitar great.

This was a great show. The folks at Long Hollow
Jamboree are holding a benefit concert for Lynn on
Sunday 5-31-2009 to aid him in the expenses incured
from Lung Cancer surgery.

Lynn was in fine spirits and played with his awesome
style,Lynn as most of you know was with ERNEST TUBB
for years and is well loved in our music community

Given Lynn's recent surgery, It's wonderful that he's well enough to perform.

Way to go Lynn.
