Hi all, I just got one of those limited edition tweed blues juniors (and had the bias tweeked to run not so hot) and I'm really happy with it. I originally wanted it for those lowell george/lindley (which it does so well) sounds yet the cleans are awesome too!
New toys are great aren't they..!!
Cheers , Joel

I want one of those myself, but this is the wrong section for discussing amplifiers. Moved to Electronics from Steel Without Pedals.

One of my coworkers brought in his tweed Blues Junior and I got a chance to play through it. I like it better than my Pro Junior. The larger speaker and reverb are good things. Although I didn't care for the built in overdrive, it's easy to just use the clean settings and whatever pedal you prefer.

Weird, I've always preferred the Pro Jr to the Blues Jr, partly because of the speaker. I also prefer the simpler tone stack, seems more "tone-full" to me, but YMMV!

The tweed Blues Junior is a great little amp.
We brought one to the TSGA Non Pedal Session last March thinking it would be for guitar, and Kev Brown plugged the National T-8 console steel into it.
It sounded terrific, and that's the rig he played for most of his selections.
Here's one:
BELGRAVE BOUNCE
You can see it in the lower left corner.
Lately I've been using it for a guitar amp at my Saturday afternoon gigs on Hollywood Beach, and it's excellent in that capacity too.
SUNNY AFTERNOON
You can see it in the lower left corner.
You can crank it up and not be too offensively loud, and it's small and light.
It has a nice spring reverb - but I have to agree with Brad about the overdrive.
So I use a Digitech Bad Monkey when I need to OD . .

Hey Rick;
Who cares about the amp after seeing you playing on the boardwalk there on the beach!

Love the visuals! Not sure if they all have the 'Fat' switch (i think it boosts mids) but with that on and the pre-amp near 12 it has some great o-drive sounds. It's great the EQ is sensitive and allows for a lot of variation. happy!!
