Cleaning and lubricating

Post by Paul Foster »

HI Everyone
I have a D-10 MSA that I purchased and I really like it, the changer seems to have been lubed with a heavy grease, I wanted to know what you guys use to clean the changer without taking it apart and what do you use to lube it with?. Also, how much "Free Play" should you have in the pedals? It seems that some pedals have more than others, what is the proper procedure for adjustment? Thanks, I appreciate your help I am a "Newbie" :D :D :D

Paul,

Here's what I did with my guitar. Mine did not need any degunking or cleaning beforehand but many on this forum have great ideas for doing that prior to lubrication.
