Why would any one ever do that, It's like putting a '49 Ford flathead engine in a New Corvette! (Unless you like hum and microphonic noise, don't do it),,,,,,,,,,a bad swap to say the least.

Will it fit? Yep! Just like a Ford engine will fit in a Chevy. Any thing will fit if you get it going fast enough! Laughing

The pickup would fit but the mounting system is different. You may need to cut off the ends of the bud mounting plate. I don't think it would be worth the trouble. You might be better off having Jerry Wallace or Jason Lollar wind you a new one to Sho Bud specs.

You try one of Bob Hoffner's Tonealigner pickups. I've not found anything better.
