I don't manage to play very much steel; I play a lot of instruments, so I fit it in where I can find an excuse. Collaborating on this song was the perfect excuse! I know it's not the most creative playing, and that my intonation is off in places, but I enjoyed it, and so did many of the watchers, though they are not perhaps connosieurs of the steel

I think if you give the original a listen again you will find that the second chord is not IV (F) but actually IIm (Dm).
