What a GREAT time we had. Kinda spoils one for coming home and having to go back to the real world of work, etc.
We have got some real talent here in Michigan.
I've said it before, real talent and better yet, really wonderful people.
Danny Hullihen and the Coyote Creek Band had instruments all set up when Leonard T and I arrived. Right here and now, I want to say THANK YOU to him for that. That is an immense job and as we live 2 hours away and I worked until midnight the night before, you have to know how much I really appreciate that effort. Thanks Danny.
The music!!! What can I say, Dannys band always makes everyone very happy. They are worth going out to see over and over again.
You will be royally entertained.
I just love all of the club guys and girls, yes girls, they all did such a good job.
I had a good time every minute I was there.
Oh, we had a really good dinner too.
Just one more thank you to Danny and a great big thanks to his wife Regina who handled the door and did an excellent job of that.
I'll see all of you in april at the 3 day show in Grand Rapids at the Hilton Hotel the first weekend in April. Love and Thanks to all who played and helped out, it was great!!

Thanks Evelyn. I was a pleasure, and we all had a great time for sure. Many great steel players were there, and I'm thankful for their time in coming out to help us make this year another great success.
A special thanks to Tim Rowley also for taking the time to do some interviewing of some of the guys for the news letter, and to Billy Cole and Mike Kile for being there with me to debut a few songs for the folks from our new CD, which were hoping to be released by Christmas.
I missed my dear friend Jerry Brightman this year, but I'm looking forward to seeing him and many others this year at the Grand Rapids show!
I would also like to give specail thanks to Marilyn Meyers and Jaxie Hartman for providing some excellent back up music during my set with Billy and Mike.
My best to all of you, and I'm very proud to serve with you, L.T., and Frank Rogers on the board of directors. |
