Hello all!

You are invited!

I feel very comfortable with this group and have decided to open up my 2nd Anual Memorial Day Jam and BBQ to local forum members who would like to attend.

I will be supplying a complete back line & drums, PA etc. We will have live drums, bass and many quality players including a Hammond XK3. I'm sure we will visit the blues, rock, country and surf genres. Bring your board, axe or ??. There will be plenty of cool stuff to plug into.

I doesn't matter what you play of how you play it. The purpose of this little get together is to just have fun and meet new musicians in the So. Cal area. You can play steel, six string, bass, drums, keys, what ever you would like. We try to play structured songs in a "pick up band" arrangement so this is not just jam leads of a 1-4-5 in G all day long. I will have non-musician friends attending so we will have an audience.

I will be serving Burgers, Brawts and Beer as well as soft drinks. There is no donation neccessary or expected. Just come on over play as much as you would like, have a good time and chew the fat with some of the areas finest and not so finest. If it is a warm day the pool will be open to cool off. Spouces, SO's and musically inclined kids old enough not to need supervision are welcome.

Please email me through the forum for directions and so I can get a head count. Here are a couple of pics from last year.
