Can someone tell me the diameter, height and thickness of a standard dobro cone. I spun one on my lathe this afternoon 8inches diam about 2inches high and .012inches in thickness. It's my first step in building as acoustic steel. Thanks! Eldon |

The old standard was 10 1/2" for spider-bridge cones. But the better modern cones made by Quarterman and Beard are slightly larger (click here). |
