can someone advice me about a volume pedal on a nonpedal lap steel guitar should i use one i'm a beginner @ this Rolling Eyes

I'd suggest reading through some of the volume pedal discussions on the forum here so you can get an idea of how volume pedals are used. For example, you can use a volume pedal to increase the apparent sustain.

If you are a total beginner then there are probably other basic techniques that you can and should work on first, such as blocking and vibrato.
